United Utilities Water Limited seeks suppliers for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to provide liming treatment services for wastewater sludge, both on-site and off-site, to manage capacity shortfalls and increased demand. The DPS will have two lots: on-site lime treatment and off-site lime treatment.
United Utilities are seeking to implement a DPS for liming treatment of Wastewater sludge’s both on and off company site. Liming may be utilised as an alternative treatment of sludge to manage capacity shortfalls and increased production demand during planned/unplanned shutdowns. The Company has an estimated 30,000 – 50,000 wet tonnes of raw sludge per year that requires alternate treatment and / or disposal. Each mini competition within the DPS will be specific each site’s specific needs, however it is anticipated that requirements shall include but not limited too: liming plant equipment, lime, permits (subject to site and lot) and resource to deliver the limed sludge treatment services. The DPS will consist of 2 lots: Lot 1: On-site lime treatment Lot 2: Off-site lime treatment
