How Tenderoo works

Tenderoo finds UK public-sector tenders that fit your business. It watches the official notice sources, builds a profile of what your company does, scores every relevant tender against that profile, and shows you the ones worth your time. This page explains each step.

Where the tenders come from

Tenderoo monitors the UK's official procurement notice services: Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. Between them these carry the public-sector contract notices for the current procurement regime and the legacy one. Every tender Tenderoo shows you links back to the official notice, so you can always check the source.

Your company profile

The first look needs no account. Enter your website address or your Companies House number on the look-up page and Tenderoo builds a profile of your business from what is publicly available: what your website says you do, and your Companies House record. That profile is what tenders are scored against, so its accuracy matters.

A profile built only from public information usually has gaps. When you sign up (free), you can edit the profile yourself: the services you offer, where you operate, your size band, and public-sector contracts you have delivered. Every change sharpens the scoring, and Tenderoo re-scores your matches when you save.

The fit score

Each tender is scored out of 100 for how well it fits your business, weighing the things that actually decide fit: service match, location, capacity against the contract size, public-sector experience, the deadline, and strategic relevance. The reading is deliberately honest: a poor match is not inflated, facts your profile does not state cannot count in your favour, and missing evidence is listed as blockers on the fit report. If a tender is split into lots, Tenderoo scores your fit per lot, because a strong fit on one lot of a large contract is a real opportunity even when the rest of it would not suit you.

What you see

Your free look shows your single best current match in full: the score, the reasons, the blockers, and your potential score, which is what you could reach by filling gaps in your profile. Paid plans build from there. Match opens every matching tender with its full fit report. Track adds new-match alerts, a weekly digest, and a plan for lifting each score. What Tenderoo does not do

Tenderoo does not submit bids. You always bid through the buyer's own procurement portal, exactly as you would without Tenderoo; the job here is making sure the right tenders reach you with an honest view of your fit, and preparing you to respond. The fit score measures how well a notice matches your profile. It does not predict that you will win.
