YPO is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for highway electrical installation services, seeking accredited providers for electrical design, supply, installation, and maintenance across three lots: Independent Connection Providers, Highway and Exterior Architectural Lighting, and Festive Lighting and Illuminations.
YPO are looking for providers to be appointed onto a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of highway electrical installation services and are seeking to appoint providers that are accredited by the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) or equivalent and the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) or equivalent The DPS is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations, which includes YPO’s internal requirements and any of YPO’s wholly owned associated or subsidiary companies.

What you will need to show
- NERS or equivalent accreditation for Lot 1 — Suppliers bidding for Lot 1 must be fully accredited by the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) or an equivalent scheme.
- HERS or equivalent accreditation for Lot 2 — Suppliers bidding for Lot 2 must be accredited by the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) or an equivalent scheme.
- Capability to provide specified services for Lot 3 — Suppliers bidding for Lot 3 must be able to provide one or more of the specified services including design, supply, project management, installation, removal, storage, and/or maintenance for festive lighting and illuminations.
Lots
- Independent Connection Providers (ICP) — This Lot is for Independent connections providers that are fully accredited by National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) or equivalent, are invited to join Category 1 of this DPS, to provide 1 or more of the following services: design, supply, project management, installation and/or maintenance in 1 or more of the scopes as listed and described by the most recent version of the Lloyd’s Register, “NERS — Scopes Guidance”
- Highway and Exterior Architectural Lighting — YPO are seeking to appoint suppliers onto Category 2 of this DPS that are accredited by the Highway Electrical Registration Scheme (HERS) or equivalent and able to offer one or more of the following services: design, supply, project management, installation, removal and/or maintenance in 1 or more of the following scopes: bus shelters and advertising equipment, cable/trench works, cameras, comms, EV charging point/other HE terminals, lighting and lit signs, lighting columns and posts, overseeing, road tunnel equipment, slot cutting and cable laying, traffic control equipment, unlit traffic signs, variable message signs.
- Festive Lighting and Illuminations — YPO are seeking to appoint suppliers to Category 3 of this DPS that are able to offer one or more of the following services: design, supply, project management, installation, removal, storage and/or maintenance in 1 or more of the following scopes: festive decorations, illuminations, projection equipment and software.
