What the buyer wants
East Lothian Council seeks suppliers to provide temporary emergency accommodation (hotel or B&B style) on a per night basis for individuals and households experiencing homelessness within East Lothian. The council will not manage the accommodation itself. The contract is for two years with possible extensions.
East Lothian Council wishes to establish a flexible purchasing system for the Provision of Temporary Emergency Accommodation for individuals and households experiencing homelessness within East Lothian Geographical area. Emergency Accommodation is Hotel or Bed & Breakfast (B&B) style accommodation which the Council may need to use when there is no other form of temporary accommodation available to meet demand. The council will be purchasing a room on a per night basis only and will have no responsibility for any aspect of the accommodation.
The proposed contract duration is two years, with an optional extension of +1, +1.
