What the buyer wants
Orkney Islands Council seeks contractors to perform various enforcement-related construction and land works on an as-required basis, supporting its planning authority functions. Contractors may bid for any combination of four defined lots covering demolition, building works, land engineering, and site clearance.
Orkney Islands Council wish to appoint a contractor (or contractors) to carry out various works on an as-required basis by the Council acting as Planning Authority, specifically in relation to its enforcement function. This is necessary for the credibility integrity of the planning process. Contractors are welcome to bid for one lot only or as many of the lot combinations as they wish.
