NHS Supply Chain intends to launch a National Framework Agreement for the provision of In-Vitro Diagnostic Devices, Point of Care Testing Products & Related Pathology Services, this will include:
- Pathology Managed Services
- Reagent Rental Agreements
- Pathology Software
- Core Laboratory Equipment, Instruments & Consumables, to cover all pathology disciplines such as but not limited to Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Cellular Pathology, Virology, Haematology, Genomics & Molecular Testing and Reproductive Sciences

- Pathology Software Solutions (up to £703,101,796) — This Lot seeks to enable the procurement of IT Solutions that include but are not limited to Software, Middleware, Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms, that will offer support in: • Clinical laboratory workflows • Diagnostic processing & Reporting • Sample Tracking & Archiving Solutions • Data interoperability across systems • Long term sample archiving • Specimen analysis and management • Integration with laboratory hardware • Modernisation & Transformation solutions • Laboratory Monitoring Solutions
- Diagnostics Testing Solutions (up to £703,101,796) — This Lot seeks solutions that deliver safe, reliable, efficient and interoperable diagnostic outcomes across all pathology disciplines, NHS Screening Programmes and diagnostic care settings. Solutions may support the delivery of diagnostic services within laboratory environments, point of care settings, community diagnostic services and home/self-testing pathways whilst maintaining appropriate clinical performance, quality assurance, governance, interoperability and patient safety requirements.
