What the buyer wants
Cyngor Gwynedd seeks qualified and licensed service providers for recycling and/or disposal of plasterboard waste from Household Waste Recycling Centres across Gwynedd, divided into three geographical lots.
Cyngor Gwynedd is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement for the recycling and/or disposal of plasterboard waste collected from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) located throughout Gwynedd.
The purpose of this procurement is to appoint suitably qualified and licensed service providers capable of accepting, handling, transporting (where applicable), recycling and/or disposing of plasterboard waste in accordance with all applicable environmental legislation.
The Authority wishes to maximise recycling performance whilst ensuring compliance with waste management regulations and delivering value for money.
The requirement is divided into the following geographical lots:
Lot 1A – Arfon Area
Lot 2D – Dwyfor Area
Lot 3M – Meirionnydd Are

- Compliance with data protection law — Suppliers must comply with UK GDPR and data protection laws relevant to the contract.
- Compliance with Modern Slavery Act — Suppliers must comply with the Modern Slavery Act as part of their contractual obligations.
- Compliance with Equality Act 2010 — Suppliers must comply with the Equality Act 2010 in delivering the contract.
- Hold relevant licenses and qualifications — Suppliers must be suitably qualified and licensed to accept, handle, transport, recycle and/or dispose of plasterboard waste in compliance with environmental legislation.
