This contract is to cover the Statutory Compliance & Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and following elements of the infrastructure located at both RBG Kew and Wakehurst included in the indicative list below

Fixed Wire Testing on a 5-year rolling cycle
Annual Portable and Fixed Appliance Testing
Specialist works
Lightning Conductor Testing and Maintenance
UPS testing
Solar Panel Annual Maintenance (Electrical & Cleaning)
Minor works and Remedial works arising from testing and inspection PPM’s, new or replacement equipment and wiring, (RBG Kew reserves the right to deliver Reactive Maintenance tasks in house according to the skill set required)

What you will need to show
- Statutory compliance for electrical works — Supplier must ensure all electrical maintenance and testing complies with statutory regulations and standards.
- Capability to perform planned preventative maintenance — Supplier must be able to carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks as specified for electrical infrastructure.
- Experience in electrical testing and specialist works — Supplier must have experience and capability to perform fixed wire testing, appliance testing, lightning conductor testing, UPS testing, and solar panel maintenance.
- Ability to perform minor and remedial electrical works — Supplier must be able to carry out minor and remedial electrical works arising from testing, inspections, and maintenance.
