What the buyer wants
FCDO Services is establishing a Global Works Framework to award construction and maintenance contracts across eight discipline lots worldwide, covering Europe, Americas, Africa and Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions.
The Authority is looking to establish a Global works framework split into multiple discipline lots. Separate ITT exercises will be conducted to award work packages to reputable contractors to complete works for FCDO Services around the World. This Framework will provide access to construction works for projects across 8 core lots, across the following regions of the world:
Europe
Americas
Africa and Middle East
Asia Pacific
Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.

Lots
- Fire Alarm (up to £21,000,000) — Fire alarm installation, maintenance and periodic inspection and testing at offices, residential properties and, where required, new build projects. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- Electrical Works (up to £55,000,000) — Electrical installation, electrical maintenance and periodic inspection and testing at offices, residential properties and, where required, new build projects. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- Mechanical Works (up to £32,000,000) — Mechanical installation work, mechanical maintenance and mechanical periodic inspection and testing at offices, residential properties and where required new build projects. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- General Works (up to £13,000,000) — A broad range of general building work, inspection and testing. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- Turnkey Works (up to £12,000,000) — Provision of complete turnkey solutions for all general building and M and E works. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- Secure Works (up to £22,000,000) — General construction, maintenance and refurbishment works with secure areas of an embassy building. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- Asbestos Removal (up to £10,000,000) — Licensable and non licensable asbestos removal works to office and residential properties. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
- HV and LV Infrastructure (up to £5,000,000) — Survey, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning of HV and LV infrastructure. Framework lot values may be shared with other lots.
